Sorry thats its taken me a few days to get my hands on the vets recipe for treating Scratches. Equal Parts: Betadine ointment Neosporin Tenactin cream Hydrocortisone cream Panalog, (must get from vet) The affected areas were caked with this concoction. Then covered with gauze and vet wrap, she was then left in her stall for a couple days. When the bandages were removed, the crusty fugal build up was gone, leaving pink skin. This was still applied everyday until it was gone, but no more bandaging. I was suprized how suddenly she went dead lame, and how much heat there was.
